All About Mercury

Mercury, also called Hermes by the Greeks, was the messenger of the Gods. The Archetype of Mercury influences the areas of our lives that not only deliver messages, it affects so much more! How we think, plan and shop is also Mercury. How we move between any two places or ideas or people is so much a part of Mercury that it is considered a hermaphrodite. Mercury is both male and female incorporating parts of both so it can blend the two ends of the road it travels.

Fall Equinox & Libra Balance

The Fall Equinox, also known as the First Day of Fall, balances the hours of day and night. Already in Metro-Detroit we’ve lost an hour of daylight since September started.

Change vs Comfort

Practically speaking, the end of January is full of contradictions. We long for change so we’re speeding up our thoughts on innovative improvements. We also long for comfort and the push for more comes at the risk of losing our cool.

A cornucopia spills it's harvest bounty onto a table with the words "Celebrate your abundance this Fall!"

Fall Abundance

Tables decorated with a cornucopia spilled forth fruits and vegetables as the people showed their gratitude to Demeter for the gift of a bountiful harvest. While we no longer create our horn of plenty or cornucopia from a goat’s horn to honor Demeter, Americans still use her symbols to represent abundant harvests.
